Panel Repair

The ampere rating of the breaker in the panel was significantly lower than the loads being used in the unit. After evaluating the wiring and the loads, I decided to upgrade the breaker to a higher amp rating. Originally, it was rated for 15A, and I increased it to 20A.

Installing Light Dimmer

The client reported an issue with the light dimmer. Upon inspection, I discovered that the dimmer switch was defective. I replaced the switch and tested the lights to ensure they were functioning properly. Since the switch was under warranty, I returned to address the minor issue at no extra charge.

Light Replacement

The customer wanted to change the old fixture for a new one.

Add New Outlet

The customer needed an additional outlet on the finished wall during the renovation. I made a cut under the baseboard to safely rewire from a nearby receptacle. Cutting the baseboard is the best option when there is no access to the attic or basement. It is also the most aesthetically efficient choice.

Troubleshooting and Installing CTV

The client reported that there was no signal on the connected monitor or the cellphone. I inspected all the wiring, connectors, and devices, identified the issue, and resolved it. Additionally, I addressed other problems they were experiencing with their system.

Central Audio Troubleshooting

The client reported no audio functionality in the kitchen and patio areas. After inspecting the wiring, devices, and firmware, the issue was identified as a configuration error and resolved.
